Due to my research-related stay in Berlin, Frau Schulten will teach the first three weeks of the semester. She will follow this syllabus, take attendance, grade your participation, assign homework, compositions, etc. She will also be available to answer your questions.

Homework

Homework will be assigned for each class and will include a thorough preparation for class discussions, compositions, reading assignments and audio-visual work at the Thormann Center as well as grammar/vocabulary exercises.  The compositions must be typed (double-spaced, with a 12- point font).  No electronic submissions are accepted.
